Amafrican Psycho is the tentatively titled upcoming debut studio album by K.A.B.O.S.H., a rock group composed of rappers Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko and rock/rap group Dirty Wormz. It has been confirmed that Dirty Wormz will be the live band for the album.
K.A.B.O.S.H. was first hinted at in 2006, when Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko made a song called "Little Pills" under that name.
Then, in 2010, Amafrican Psycho was confirmed through an insert in Cognito's album Automatic with a scheduled release date of October 19, 2010.[1] After failing to meet that release date, Tech expanded on it through an interview with 411mania.com, confirming that he will begin work on the K.A.B.O.S.H. album after completing his thirteenth solo album Welcome to Strangeland.[2] In July 2011, Tech N9ne said that he will begin work on the album after returning from his tour in August.[3] He then confirmed in a blog post that rapper Rick Ross has agreed to do a song for the album and that he is also hoping to collaborate with Jay-Z on the album. He also confirmed in the same blog post that the album would be a rock album.[4] Several weeks later, he confirmed that work on the album will begin after he completes his album Welcome to Strangeland.[5] After completing his tour in August, Tech N9ne then announced that he was about to begin work on Welcome to Strangeland, his EP KLUSTERFUK and then the K.A.B.O.S.H. album.[6]
In a July 2011 interview with FaygoluversHeaven Tech confirmed that they would be moving on with the title Amafrican Pyscho (African American Psycho).
In September 2011, a blog post from Tech N9ne revealed that he met the band Avenged Sevenfold and that Avenged Sevenfold's fans were receptive to the idea of a collaboration. The blog post also said that fans may be in for a surprise in the future, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.[7]
In October 2011, the first track, "God Of War," was announced to have been recorded.[8]
